Wings of Wonder
Each summer, Kids in Flight hosts a special day highlighting the wonder of aviation. Seriously ill children and their families have the opportunity to enjoy many exciting activities as well as a free flight around Cleveland in a general aviation aircraft with an experienced, licensed pilot.
Professional photographers capture each special moment as the children enjoy games, arts and crafts, educational exhibits and more. Lunch is also provided for participating families and several historical and military aircraft are displayed such as a PT-17 Stearman, SNJ-4 Texan and P-51 Mustang.
Kids in Flight is all about sharing—sharing an experience and creating memories that will last forever. It is a chance for participating children and their families to escape their crises and soar with their dreams.
This event is at no cost to the families and is funded through the generosity of our sponsors and donors.

If a family has health related concerns, they should contact their doctor prior to the event. The aircraft are not pressurized and will not go above 5,000 feet.
